December Daily: Days 1-10

After Week in the Life and Little Paper Projects, I have become kinda addicted to supplemental albums to highlight different themes or special times of this year.

December Daily is my first holiday excursion!  I will eventually put them in an 6 x 8 album but first I wanted each of my creations to be on display as my holiday decorations since we don't have many at our hotel room.  I purchased 31 6x9 clipboards and attached them to the wall using command Velcro picture hanging strips in the shape of the December calendar.  And yes I tested them and it really does come off walls without damage :)

As base of each one of my scrapbooking layout, I purchased Clique Kits, Clique Into December kit featuring Pink Fresh Studio. LOVE this kit!  So many possibilities!

Here are days 1-10!

Background stamping is how I added messy, one dimensional texture.

Grid design with the puffy stickers and button flair.

Accordion folded the October Afternoon paper and journaled on one side of the fold.  Nothing like a black, white and red layout.:)

I always have a mental hurdle 'covering up' the picture with embellishments. WHY? I have no idea!

The tinsel came on a rope but a I gave it a smidgen of a trim.
A busy picture begged for a busy background and simple element placement.

Rounded corners like the clipboard was one of those last minute choices!

I'm a sucker for a quilt grid :)

Busy, busy bee :)

Classically simple with straight and clean lines on day 10!

Thanks for taking a gander and enjoying the season with me!

  1. Such a fun idea to display your pages before tucking them into an album, Kim! Great pages, I see a couple of things I hope to incorporate into my own album. :)

  2. You are always so sweet to comment Elise! xoxoxo Thank you!
